Your privacy is the foundation of TabiNote. This policy explains clearly and honestly what data we collect, what we do not collect, and how we use third-party services.

1. Your Data Stays on Your Device

All user-generated content — including trips, itineraries, budgets, and packing lists — is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sync your personal account data or travel itineraries to our servers. Your travel life is yours.

2. Content Delivery via Supabase

TabiNote uses Supabase, a cloud database service, solely to deliver public, read-only content to you, such as:

• Travel news and inspiration stories
• App configurations and feature flags

This connection is one-way: content flows from Supabase to your device. We do not use Supabase to collect, store, or process any personal data or user-generated content.

3. AI-Powered Features (Google Gemini)

When you choose to use AI-assisted features — such as photo translation or smart itinerary suggestions — the specific text or image you submit is sent to the Google Gemini API for processing.

• Processing is ephemeral: your data is not retained by Google beyond the immediate request.
• We send only the minimum data required to fulfill your request.
• You are always in control — AI features are opt-in and never run in the background.
